OnePlus Buds Pro 2 With ANC, 360 Spatial Audio Released Globally

OnePlus presented a number of new devices yesterday at a global launch event. It has released the OnePlus Buds Pro 2, the sequel to the original Buds Pro, which debuted in 2021. The latest offering resembles its predecessor but has several additional features. Continue reading to find out all it has to offer right away.

The OnePlus Buds Pro 2 resembles its predecessor in appearance, including a stem and silicone ear tips. It sports a dual-tone design, with the stem being glossy and the earbuds being matte. The TWS earphones are water-resistant to IP55 standards. There is also a feature for detecting ear canals.

The OnePlus Bud Pro 2 is equipped with two drivers that measure 11mm and 6mm in size. They provide active noise cancellation (ANC) up to 48dB to eliminate background noise. There is also a transparency option that allows you to become aware of your surroundings without having to remove the earbuds. For gaming, the audio device supports the LHDC 5.0 audio codec and has a latency of 54ms.

For surround sound, the OnePlus Buds Pro 2 feature 360-degree Spatial Audio. Hans Zimmer, a Hollywood music composer who has worked on popular films like as The Dark Knight Trilogy, Dune, Top Gun: Maverick, and others, has calibrated the Master EQ (Equalizer) on the TWS headphones. The ‘Soundscape’ Master EQ is said to feature fewer low frequencies than the default setting, as well as a brighter and wider sound field. According to OnePlus, the Master EQ would let users to hear the full symphonic sound of classical music as well as the multidimensional score of an action film.

The OnePlus Buds Pro 2 support Bluetooth 5.2 and can connect to two devices at the same time. It is said to have a total battery life of 39 hours and a tiny rectangular storage and charging enclosure. The earphones are reported to last 9 hours when the ANC feature is turned off and 6 hours when it is turned on. The audio gadget allows both wired and wireless charging.

In India, the OnePlus Buds Pro 2 is priced at USD 179. The TWS earbuds are available in Obsidian Black and Arbor Green and will be in stores beginning February 14th.
